The Martingale Roulette System is the most popular Roulette Strategy used today for its sheer simplicity and guaranteed profitability. Ask anyone who’s tried the Martingale Roulette System at the Roulette tables and (assuming they weren’t rushed for time) they will tell you how well it works.

Before going into further details about how to use the Martingale Roulette System, I want to point out one thing. The only drawback with this Roulette strategy is that it is considered minimally profitable. This is better understood as you read the details of the Martingale Roulette System.
Martingale Roulette System – How it Works
The basic idea is to place a single unit wager on any outside bet that pays even odds. For instance High or Low, Black or Red, Even or Odd. You will continue placing a wager on the exact same bet throughout the session of Roulette.
It does not matter what the single unit is worth – $1, $5, $10, etc., so long as you have a large enough bankroll to continue wagering for quite some time. At least 50x the single unit amount is recommended, but the higher the better, just in case you hit a long slump.
If you Win – Place another single unit wager in the same place.
If you Lose – Double your bet amount and re-place the same bet.
Even if you lose three or more times in a row, by continuing to double your bet amount, when you do win, you will always come up with a profit. Once you win, always start back with another single unit bet, pocketing all other chips.
To prove that the Martingale Roulette System is a guaranteed winning Roulette strategy, let’s try an example…
Example 1:
You place a $1 bet on Red. You win, giving you $2. You’ve made a $1 profit.
Example 2:
You place a $1 bet on Red, and the winning number is Black. You’ve lost $1. Now, place a $2 bet on Red. Again, the winning number is Black. You’ve lost $3 total. Next, place a $4 bet on Red. The winning number comes up Red, you get back your original $4 bet (which is not counted as profit), plus $4 for the win. Subtract the $3 you’ve already lost, and you end with a $1 profit.
By pocketing the profit every time and starting over with a single unit bet after each win, you will always come out on top. Doing this for several hours straight with $1 bet units can easily result in a $50-$200 profit, depending on how often you win.
As we mentioned above, the Martingale Roulette System is considered minimally profitable, since you are spending a good deal of time to make $1 a profit per win. But as a guaranteed winner at Roulette, you simply can’t beat it.
Please note that when we say the Martingale Roulette System is “guaranteed” to win, it is conceivably possible (though very highly improbable) to lose every single time until your bankroll is depleted. The only way this might actually occur is if you don’t bring enough money to the table to begin with. That is why $1 bet units, with a minimum bankroll of $50, is strongly recommended when using the Martingale Roulette System.
