Five Number Bet (quatre premiere)- This bet is only able to be made on a double zero table and will cover numbers 0, 00, 1, 2, and 3. This is the worst bet that a player can make in Roulette. Payout: 6:1 Odds: 38:5.
Line Bet (Sixainne) – This bet replaced the 5 number bet on the European table and will allow you to place your chips at the end of the two rows at the intersection between them. Outside bets
Red or Black (rouge or noir) – Simply put you will place your chip on the outside of the table in either the red or black section. Payout 1:1 Odds 38:18.
Even or Odd (impair or pair) – Similar to the Red or Black bets, the even or odds bet on the roulette wheel means you will be betting that the outcome of the ball will land on either an even number or an odd number. Payout 1:1 Odds: 38:1.
High or Low Bets (passé or manqué) – This bet allows you to bet on the ball landing on either high or low numbers. In this bet the table is split with high numbers ranging from 17-36 and low numbers spread between 1 – 16. If the ball lands in either the 0 or 00 pockets you lose your wager. Payout 1:1 Odds 38:18.
Dozens Bet (mayenee douzaine or derniere douzaine) – This bet allows you to bet on a specific column. In this bet you will place your chips at the end of the column marked 2 to 1 and your bet will cover any of the numbers in that particular column. When placing this bet you will have three columns to choose from, 1 – 12, 13 – 24 and 25 – 36. The zero pockets do not count towards this bet which means if your ball lands in a zero pocket you lose your wager. Payout 2:1 Odds 38:12.
